Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. We are £98 off of raising £2000 as a family. please donate what you can **** UPDATE 05.06.19 **** Our mum has now been told that they will no longer be able to treat her cancer, so she is now receiving palitive care.... this is such a difficult time for us as a family, but it makes us more determined to raise even more money, and to make as many happy memories as we can **** ***Update.... unfortunately we have been given the news that the cancer has spread to mums liver, giving us only months to make as many memories as we can. ............. As you are aware, our mum / nanny was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in May last year... shortly after she was diagnosed we got the devastating news that it had spread to her lymph nodes and her spine.... She's been through a major operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Now she's taking part in a clinical trial, in hope to give us all more time together and to slow the growth of the cancer down. So here we are as a family, coming together to give everybody some laughter (thats where liam comes in - watch this space) and to raise some money to give back to cancer research for helping us have more time to make precious memories. ****UPDATE***** So my mums cancer has started to grow again, making me more determined to raise more money.... shes starting radio therapy again in the next few weeks. If we can give something back to help other families going through what we are, then we have made a difference. Please donate anything small will help. ♥️
