My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. I realise that some folk regularly achieve 10,000 steps by lunchtime so perhaps wonder what all the excitement is about, but for someone who's fighting a battle against cancer, even 100 steps can feel like a marathon. Be it due to the side effects of the treatment or the disease itself, putting one foot in front of the other can be as big a challenge as anything else they are facing at that time. My job involves being chained to a desk for 8 hours a day (not literally!) so this just means that my challenge is to step it out in a morning or evening but at least I've got that freedom of choice. Please help me hit my target to raise £100 so that we can try and beat this scourge together.

CAUSE
Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
