My Story

This terrible disease affects most of us in one way or another. I’ve donated money to Cancer Research since my mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer but now it’s time to do a bit more. We were one of the lucky families and my mum survived but not everyone is that fortunate. Reasearch is needed now more than ever to continue the great steps already taken for greater survival rates, therefore this September, I’m taking on Sweatember, an epic 30-day exercise challenge for Cancer Research UK. Help me raise money to fund life-saving cancer research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
