Cheryl & Chelsea’s Race for Life ❤️

Me and Chelsea are taking on the Pretty Muddy 5k Race For Life again this year 🙈🏃🏼‍♀️💕😬 A lot of you will know my family received some devastating news back in August 2017. My Nan was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I was heartbroken, the whole family were. My Nan has been my rock since I was a little girl and the thought of her not being around anymore was unbearable. So last year me and Chelsea ran the Race For Life for her, I struggled but made it to the finish line 💕 She was so proud of us 😊 At her 12 month check up all was looking well, there was no change to the size of the Cancer and it hadn’t spread either. Things were looking up a little 👍🏻 Until 4 weeks later, when she fell poorly and was taken into hospital. That’s when we received even more devastating news. In the short space of those 4 weeks the Cancer had spread to her brain 😞💔 Unfortunately on Sunday, February 24th this year, she grew her wings and passed away leaving us all heartbroken 💔 Losing our Nan has made us even more determined to do the race for life again this year and raise even more for Cancer research.
