My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Everyone will be touched by cancer, either through a personal diagnosis, or a family member, friend or colleague diagnosed with the disease. This March I will be walking 10,000 steps a day* throughout the month in memory of my friend, Zoe. In March 2019, Zoe walked for Cancer Research UK a year after being diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer. Zoe fought cancer courageously, but sadly lost her battle on 12 February 2021. Cancer Research UK’s vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Through their research they have helped to double UK survival rates over the last 40 years, but too many people still die from cancer. Please help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. *As Rheumatoid Arthritis doesn’t play by the rules and 10,000 steps a day is actually quite hard (especially if you’re as unfit as I am!), my realistic aim is to complete as many steps as I can in a day and complete 70,000 steps by the end of the week (fortunately rest days are permitted!).

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
