Some of you may know that in 2013 my Mum was diagnosed with a rare form of melanoma, melonoma of the iris. My mum is now 4 years clear and I couldn't imagine life without her. So this June Carrie and I are running the Cancer Research Pretty Muddy in honour of all those who have battled this terrible disease.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
