I'll be running Race for Life 10k in memory of my grandad Reg and aunt Barbara, and raise some money to help beat cancer
My Story
I will be running Race for life 10k in memory of my grandad Reg and my aunty Barbara, as they both sadly lost their fight to cancer. Getting a little fitter doesn't hurt either. I decided to take part in this run two weeks ago, giving myself the challenge to go from self confessed couch potato to 10k runner in just under 3 weeks. Cancer is something that sadly affects so many of us and our friends and families, and anything we can do, is a step closer to beating it. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
