I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.

I need to get active and what better way then to start off doing a Race for Life and raise some money for Cancer Research in the process. I have not done any running at all since doing the Taunton Half Marathon for St. Margaret's hospice a few years ago, so this will be big challenge. Those who know me will know that I work at St. Margaret's Hospice so see first hand the devastating effects Cancer can bring so I want to do this race to help fund further research into beating this horrid disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
