My Story
Hiya! So, as you can see I have signed up for Truro's Race for Life. Truro is the first race for life I did with Mum. We jogged and strolled around the course and laughed the entire way. I'm going to attempt to run this course! I'm not built for running but Im going to give it a good go in memory of Mum and Grandad Peter. As you'll know we lost Grandad in December 2016 after a very short illness. Grandad was a remarkable gent and is greatly missed by the enitre family and the parish! His whistles still ring in my ears whenever I see a picture of him! We said goodbye to Mum less than a year after Grandad. Seeing Mum in those final weeks was utterly heartbreaking. I cannot begin to describe what its like to lose your Mum. I still wake up most mornings and think about calling her on WhatsApp so she can see what the boys are up too. I still send her picture messages to keep her in the loop! It breaks my heart that she never got to meet Carter and that he'll never get a Ninna cuddle. But, she wouldnt want us sitting around being sad so instead I'm going to get off my butt and run. I've zumba and I will do my hardest to run the full 5! Ive waffled on I think! If you have a spare £1 or 2 to donate that would be awesome! thank you :) xx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
