I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. This year we had some shocking news one of our family friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Finding out on our family friends James had cancer shocked family to the core. He is my brother in laws best friend and a friend to all of us. James has always shown kindness to me as well as his witty dry sense of humour. That's why I'm doing Race for Life I want to do something productive and show him that people around him are fighting for him too. This is not the end of James's story it's just a beginning keep on fighting keep on smiling and keep that chin up. I know yes keep the jokes coming.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
