My Story

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2015 at the age of 15, 2 days before Christmas! I started undergoing treatment in 2016 it was the longest 6 months of my life! Everyday needles and tablets then more needles and more tablets, never knowing if it any of it was gonna work or actually do anything! The whole time thinking am I going to make it……… But thankfully with the help from doctors, nurses, family and friends I’m sat here today! But cancer never leaves even when your in remission or given the all clear it stays with you for life the memories and the trauma and thoughts of will it come back!!! But we can all be together and help one other! For people who are battling through cancer, has lost someone special to cancer or if you’ve been through it and need someone to talk!! So I am doing this run for all those people who are going through something relating to cancer and one day we will beat it!!!!!
