My Story
Cancer is happening right now- still, and it has affected so many people around me. Which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me! Every penny will count towards beating this horrible disease that has taken too many of our loved ones and people still continue to fight each day.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
