Watford Pretty Muddy Kids 2019

Sat 8 Jun 2019 - Sat 8 Jun 2019

I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to be part of something great, with brilliant people, to raise money for an important cause.

In memory of

Uncle Al

My Story

I have done Pretty Muddy for the past couple of years, and the Kids Run with Freddie last year, and it was amazing, seeing all these women, lots of whom were not runners, taking this on, supporting each other, all together, to raise money for Cancer Research. I was amazed and humbled by a volunteer who had terminal cancer, and was helping the runners with the space hopper section of the run. I feel so lucky that can be part of this. I would love to raise some money, and would so appreciate your support. Many of the Awesome Friends I am running with have lost someone very important and special to them, and I want to honour those people. My family lost our very special godfather in January this year. Uncle Al was one the best people, he was intelligent, and kind, and generous, and we miss him very much. He was also a brilliant runner in his youth, a real team player, and I will be running for him, as part of a brilliant team. Thank you for sponsoring me, or Freddie, or any of our team.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
