My Story
This March, I’m challenging myself to walk 10,000 steps every single day to raise money for cancer research. I’m doing this in memory of my Granddad John and Granny Pam who we sadly lost to cancer, and in support of my Dad, Granddad Jim and my mother-in-law, Dawn, who are all bravely fighting it right now. Cancer has affected my family deeply, like it has for so many others, and I want to do something meaningful to help make a difference. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go towards vital research to improve treatments and bring us closer to a cure. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
