My Story
Ok, Johnnie and I have signed ourselves up to do the 2018 Shine Night Walk. This is 26 miles long - so equivalent to a marathon! I've decided to do this to help battle against leukemia. Over the past 2 years, my Dad has been fighting the disease and to be fair - he has been an absolute trooper! I sadly don't get to see him often as we live nearly 3 hours away from each other but I do like to think I provide support wherever I can. I know that CRUK have been a brilliant support system to him - so why don't I give something back? I'm also lucky enough to work for Cancer Research UK - so the Shine Marathon Walk was an obvious option to take part in.. (i'm planning a few more events in 2019 eeeeeeppp!) This is a massive challenge due to the length of the walk - i would run it.. but i'm not very good at that hahaha. I've managed to rope my wonderful boyfriend, Johnnie into doing this with me. We'd appreciate anything that anyone could give! Thank you - Charlotte x Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
