My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I’ve been away from running since the first lockdown and I really want to get back into it, but I’ve been struggling with motivation. So I thought I would challenge myself running a charity race. Challenge is the word for it, I’m so unfit right now, so it’s going to be a Big Deal. Why did I choose Cancer Research UK? Because cancer is happening right now, and it can happen to any one of us. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
