My Story
I am running the 2020 Brighton Marathon, and raising money for a very important cause. My marathon story; after entering the London Marathon ballot 5 times and being unsuccessful I was determined to run a marathon at some point. When I didn’t get a place in October 2019 for the 2020 marathon I vouched that 2020 would still be my year. On NYE 2019 I set it as my New Years resolution to run a marathon in 2020, my aim was the Bournemouth marathon in October - but they cancelled it! So that’s how I came to the decision of the Brighton Marathon, but only left me with 13 weeks to train! So here it goes! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
