Our Dad/Grandad XXX
My Story
Many of our friends know that the C word is something very close to our families hearts at the moment as my dad/grandad is extremely ill with advanced secondary prostate cancer, it is now in his bladder and bones.Cancer is such a horrible disease and seeing it first hand is heart wrenching (and made a whole lot harder when there is young children who have to see this too) Archie is 9 years old and he see an advert for the Race for life last week and asked me "mummy is cancer what grandad poppy has" I said "yes mate it is" he then shocked me with "mum I want to do the Race for life for my grandad poppy" so you guessed it! We are going to run the race for life!!!! Those who know archie know this won't be done half heartedly and I WILL be running lol. Archie has become very passionate about fundraising and having ideas of what he can do to fund raise for cancer research, so please if you could share this and just donate a few pound. He is looking forward to fundraising and he will be so excited about his achievement. Thank you xxx
