My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Emily and I are going to front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and probably not butterfly our way to 20k ,10km each, in August to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. A total of 800 lengths! We have been swimming together from an early age and both enjoy it, so thought what better way to raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research. Cancer has touched both our lives in different ways so we are swimming in memory of a few people. I’m swimming in memory of my Grandpa, who was diagnosed with cancer, treated and very fortunate to be able to live another 17 years, due to the research and development of treatments that charities like Cancer Research have been able to complete. So I understand how vital it is to raise money to ensure we can continue to fund research so we can find better treatments and ultimately a cure, so that more people get time with the people they love. We are so grateful for any amount that you donate to either of our pages and thanks for sponsoring us in our journey!!
