Charlotte Phillips's Race for Life
Cheltenham 5k 2019

I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
all those who have lost the battle
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My family and friendship group have been touched by cancer. My great uncle and uncle have fought (and beaten) bladder and bowel cancer. My friend Alan lost the fight to throat and bone cancer. My grandfather, aunt and I have all had skin cancer. It's true that everybody knows somebody. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so if you can spare a donation, please sponsor me now.

All Cancer Types
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
