Charlie and Jacks Race for Life
Windsor Pretty Muddy Kids 2019
Sat 1 Jun 2019 - Sat 1 Jun 2019
Charlie and Jack are two best friends taking part in this year's Pretty Muddy race for life. They are doing their bit to help fight cancer. Its only when you feel the full force of this nasty disease in your family that you realise how invaluable all the research is into helping to fight cancer. Charlie's story Charlie's grandma was recently diagnosed with advanced thyroid cancer. This was a a big shock for all of us and marked the beginning of a long fight. Charlie's grandad was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. This has also involved ongoing check ups and monitoring. We are pleased to say that due to the advances in cancer research both of his maternal grandparents are LIVING with cancer and NOT dieing from it! Jack's story Jack's two uncles have both had prostate cancer. They have benefited from the treatment that cancer research has made possible. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor Jack and Charlie now.
