My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Most people either have been, or know someone who has been affected by cancer in some way. Up until 2018 I was lucky enough to not have been directly affected by it. However, at the beginning of that year my grandad was diagnosed with cancer. At this point it became clear just how common of a disease it is. Thankfully my grandad beat it, but there are many that aren’t so lucky. As a result, I will be running a half marathon in 2019, alongside some side events throughout the year, to continue to raise as much money as possible for cancer research UK. Any donation would be highly appreciate, no matter how small! Thank you all so much for supporting this amazing cause.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
