In memory of
Brian Johnson
5th Nov 1958 - 15th Aug 2019
On Sunday 8th September, 7 of my closest mates and I will be doing a 5km Tough Mudder, raising money as a team for Cancer Research UK in honour of my dad, Brian Johnson - who passed away with liver cancer 2 weeks ago, as well as Samir Sobeih's Aunt and Uncle who passed away from cancer this year, and of course in memory of Dan George's Dad, who passed away a few years ago. I'd also like to add another dedication personally, to Chris Hough, who lost his battle with cancer on the same day as my dad. Most of our lives have been - or sadly will be - affected by cancer. Losing my Grandad at 17 was my first experience of losing the battle and it doesn't get any easier. Cancer Research UK is helping us to get closer to the day when all forms of cancer might be curable. Any donations towards this great cause would be hugely appreciated, however small they may seem.
