My Story
In 2019 me and my two brothers lost our dad to bowl cancer. It was the most draining, emotional, scary experience of my life watching my dad slowly die. That phone call my dad had to make to his 3 children and being told he only had two months left to live was devastating and something ill never get over. I still get flash backs now. Not having our dad around has effected our lives forever and I know I’m not the same person anymore. It’s heartbreaking to loose someone you are so close to and who played such an important part of your life. I want to to raise as much money as I can to put towards cancer research to find a cure. If I had 1 wish it would be that so it can stop all this heartbreak people have to go through when having to watch their loved ones deteriorate and slowly die of this horrible disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
