Back in 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer with liver metastasis. I underwent bowel and liver surgery and 12 rounds of chemo. I managed 3 months in remission before I got a reoccurrence in my liver. I have since had further liver surgery but it’s still not clear and I now have lung metastasis too. Bowel cancer is the 4th most common cancer and the 2nd biggest killer. It is said that 1 in 2 people will now get cancer in their lifetimes and without vital funds research can’t be done.
