10k steps a day to raise money and awareness for cancer research too many loved ones are affected
This year I am completing the 5k pretty muddy course and 10,000 step a day challenge for cancer research. My main reasons for racing for life are in memory of my Auntie Billie,Uncle Bob, Uncle Roy, Cousin Mark, Louise and Sharon who all sadly passed. For Alison for being so brave throughout her battle. And also in celebration of my amazing inspirational Mum for facing cancer head on and coming through the other side. I am truly blessed to have her with me. I also race for life to raise awareness of upper gastro intestinal cancers, and in support of the upper gi blues support group who do fantastic work within the midlands 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
