I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

I’m taking on the Birmingham Half marathon in October to raise funds for Cancer research.

Cancer has played a strong role within my family with both my aunt and uncle being affected by various forms. I’m doing this race in memory of my aunt who died after battling breast cancer nearly three years ago.

She first battled breast cancer over 10 years ago where she was lucky enough to enter remission. Unfortunately a few years later the cancer was back, and even though she fought back with various forms of treatment and surgery. Unfortunately she lost her battle with cancer in October 2016 but will never be forgotten.

I’ve never run before so wish me luck!
