Cerys's Race for Life
Liverpool - Aintree 5k 2020
Sun 4 Oct 2020 - Sun 4 Oct 2020
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Alex has signed us up, it’s official! As you may know, I’m not a mega-fan of regular exercise. Or of exercise at all. Or even of doing my half-jog up the stairs at the train station every morning. But Alex has assured me that I can manage a 5k on flat ground with him, and we shall put this theory to the test! I was only about 8 when cancer first hit me with the death of my Grandad Jim. I was definitely too small and shielded by my family to comprehend such a disease at the time. But after seeing it hurt people and families close to me over the years, I've seen and understood how brutal it can be. So catch me running up the world museum steps with the Rocky theme tune blasting. This is a small way we can push back, so please sponsor me & Alex if you can. Any teeny tiny donation would be super lovely and v. much appreciated if you are able to make one! Fankz x
