My Story

As many of you know we, as a family, are currently fighting this hideous disease as my gorgeous hubster has an aggressive & incurable brain tumour. Amy, Dale and I are undertaking this event with family and friends to raise much needed funds for research into cancer: prevention, treatments and hopefully one day cures, but also to make memories. Please help us help Cancer research's work to develop treatments and one day, hopefully, we will eradicate this evil disease that affects so many! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Brain cancer

Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
