Cancer Sucks!!! My fantastic Dad, my amazing Mum and my lovely Mother-in-law have all been diagnosed with Cancer. They all have different kinds and so I read, I learn, I research and I drive everyone mad asking a million questions but still I can't help. I can't take it away, I can't cure them, I can't treat them and I can't make them feel better. But what I can do is get off my backside and raise some money to support those who can do all the things I'm unable to. So I have decided that this September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. Now, I've got a glass hip (torn cartilage and arthritis) so I reckon this is going to be pretty hard going for me and quite possibly painful but it's nothing compared to what 3 of the most important people in my life have already, are currently and will continue to go through whilst fighting their individual battles with Cancer. The saddest thing is that now 1 in 2 people have to deal with Cancer in their lifetime so my family isn't really all that unique. I want to live in a world where all forms of Cancer can be treated and cured. But in order for that to happen Cancer Research needs your help. PLEASE PLEASE share my page with family, friends, friends of friends, work colleagues, the postman, the milkman and anyone you think will help me to do something to help. Not just my family but all families who's lives are turned upside down by Cancer. Every penny counts! Thank you Ceri xxx
