Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I'm doing this for my lovely Mum who died in May, 2011. But also for the friends and family who have suffered and died, for those who are still dealing with cancer and for those who have been recently diagnosed. Cancer doesn't care about who you are or about your station in life. This is why it must be beaten. Every pound raised helps researchers to find a way of dealing with it.
