Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. As some of you may know I lost my mum in June 2019 as a result of cancer. She had been battling the horrible illness on-off for 10 years. Josie was very active and always had a huge passion for fitness and health. She used to drag me up onto the downs in the pouring rain and darkness before school to do circuits with her. She was a keen runner and always considered doing a marathon but never got round to it... so I'm going to run it with her. I am raising money for cancer research UK, specifically for brain cancer... as this is what caused my beautiful mum and bestest friend to lose her life. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.. big or small. Thank you for your time reading this and visiting my page xxxxxxxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
