My Story
This will be my 4th Pink Ladies Tractor run and I can’t wait. The Dexta has has a very good service and is very ‘fit for purpose!’ It’s been a tough year for so many and I really hope that by taking part in this years run we can raise enough money, to make life better for those who need it most, while investing in research to help stamp out cancer. The Pink Tractor Road Run is in aid of breast cancer Research for Cancer Research UK. It’s an amazing event and run by a very special team of volunteers. The work behind the day is amazing and to every marshal and service vehicle that collects and mends broken tractors on the day I thank you..... you saved me and the little grey tractor the first year! This will be the postponed 17th year of the event and so far, the tractor runs have raised over £735,000 for the charity and are aiming for the million. Please find time to come and see this event in person - it’s an amazing vision of pink and some amazing well loved tractors. Every donation is a good donation no matter how small as every penny can make a difference and these donations go straight to Cancer Research. Please help me to help others. Many thanks Cecilia The photos cover the last 3 years with a special photo of Mr John Meadows who has taught me all I know about old tractors having let me have the honour of driving his little grey tractor for 2 years. We now own a Dexta but his grey tractor and our blue one will represent the village again this year!
