My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. For my Grandpa, Grant's Dad, Aunty Paula, Sean, Tamsin's Mum and SO many more who fought hard but lost their battles. For 2 very special aunties who fought and won, and now one who is having to fight again. For every single person who has been effected by Cancer so far and for all those yet to face it. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me. Without the funding, they will never find better treatments - and hopefully one day a cure!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
