It has been almost 10 years since we lost our Dad, Roy Caward, to the cruellest of cancers. No matter how long, it still feels like yesterday. Pancreatic cancer took our Dad just 3 months after being diagnosed. No words can explain how much we miss him and no amount of time can take away the pain. We run the race for life every year in hope to help save a family member of another, or even maybe one day, ourselves. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
