My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. I’m dedicating myself to complete this challenge in memory of my special mum who sadly died of cervical cancer and my special friend Alison who sadly died of ovarian cancer. I am also dedicating this challenge to my best friend who beat breast cancer, my daughters amazing childminder who is currently fighting cancer and for everyone else who has fought,still fighting and who have lost their battle. Those that know me know I don’t have a lot of spare time on my hands so this really is a challenge for me but I pledge to walk 10,000 steps a day throughout March and raise what I can to help fund the vital research that we all need to help find a cure for cancer! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
