My Story
Last year, at the start of lockdown I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Within 2 weeks, I'd had surgery, and chemotherapy was planned. I'm happy to say that it was the first anniversary of chemo finishing last week and I feel great, though my hair has a life of its own now.... I walked miles all through treatment and then I started to jog. I haven't got to 5k yet but will do it on the 17th October. Help me raise money through the Race for Life 5k so that other people like me can feel optimistic when they get a cancer diagnosis. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
