In memory of
Helen Kelbie
Like most famiies, we have been affected by cancer, and especially so over the past year. Dan, Sarah and I are running in memory of our very special Mum and Granny, Helen, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in August 2016. I will also be remembering my lovely dad who we lost to a brain tumour in 2001, aged only 56, and who never had the chance to meet his beautful grandchildren. Dan is running for his best friend in the world, and the bravest boy we know, Reon, who beat leukemia earlier this year. Go, Reon!! Sarah and I are reluctant runners and are following the 6 week programme to jog a 5k. Dan is planning to turn up on the day and leave us in the dust! Please donate whatever you can. Anything at all is much appreciated. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
