My Story
It’s a sad reality that most of us have been affected by Cancer in some way. Whether through family or friends, or as an individual. I’m taking part in the Walk all over Cancer challenge, for Cancer Research, by doing 10,000 steps every day in March. I have found it very difficult this lockdown to be motivated to do anything at all, never mind actually leave the house to do some exercise. I can’t think of any greater motivation to get moving than by doing this, to try and show in a small way my support for my dad, for who Cancer has become a reality. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
