I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.

I've recently taken up running again. It's about keeping ft; it's about making myself feel better. I decided to enter a Race for Life 5k as a target. If I can raise some money too, so much the better.

Like everyone, I know people who have cancer now. They need all the support they can get. This is one way I can show that I care.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

It's the day and I've done it! I ran 5k in just over 43 minutes. No stopping. Very proud of myself and delighted to have done in alongside so many other women. So thanks again to everyone who has believed in me and sponsored me.
