My Story
In memory of Dad ❤️ It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 22 years since my wonderful dad died after being diagnosed with leukaemia. He has missed so much... Family adventures, holidays, day trips, and just spending time with Mum - his best friend. He didn't get to watch me and my siblings grow up and find our way through adult life. He never got to meet our partners, see us get married, or experience the joy of becoming a grandad. And oh my goodness, he would have absolutely adored his grandkids!! Cancer touches so many families though, it's not just been our lives that have been affected by it. That’s why, on September 19th, I’ll be taking part in the Shine Marathon Walk alongside my sister Emma and sister-in-law Hayley, raising money for Cancer Research UK. We’re taking on this challenge in Dad’s memory, and for everyone else affected by cancer, with the hope that the money we raise can help support vital research into better treatments and, one day, a cure for cancers such as leukaemia. If you’re able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, it will help fund research and could make a real difference to another family in the future. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for any support you’re able to give x
