My Story
I will be running 5km ( 3.1 miles ) everyday for the whole of September to raise money for cancer research UK. Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer. This is a subject that has deeply affected myself and my families life’s. My Grandma had sadly lost her fight to cancer in December 2012. After beating breast cancer a number of times! My Grandad had fought his best after beating prostate cancer to then unfortunately losing his fight to lung cancer that had then spread to his spine in July 2019. Seven months later.... We had then devastatingly lost my Nana, due to lung cancer. We as a family are truly devastated that cancer has taken the three most important people in our lives. My dad lost his mother, we lost our grandma and the person who tough us soo much especially when it came to sowing! My Mum lost her parents, devastatingly Seven months apart. Not only has she lost her parents, we had lost our remaining grandparents. Cancer has taken away the three most important people that I adored and inspired to be alike. The void in our hearts will never be filled! We might all be apart, but we’re doing this together. I am doing this in memory of my grandma Catherine Ferguson Stuart, my grandad Kenneth Oliver Lloyd and my nana Elizabeth Caroline Lloyd #cancersucks #letsmakebreakthroughspossible
