My Story
Cancer is happening right now and has or will unfortunately affect us all in one way or another. My best friends mum was misdiagnosed for 3 years and sadly lost her short battle with Cancer in 2015. A group of us are doing this together in her memory. I am always in awe and admire everyone who challenges themselves and helps raise money for charity at the same time and now it's my turn. One small step and all that.... I'm starting with a 5k!!! I've always wanted to "run" but in the last 10 years the furthest I've run is to catch the ice cream man before he drives off or to the bar when last orders is called ? So here I go, this may be nothing to most but for someone who hasn't exercised in a very long time, it's a big deal.
