Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. I lost my beautiful mam in 1999 from cancer and would give anything for research to have been more advanced back then. Following my mams death, my dad's health took a knock from the shock and he died in 2007 suddenly. Cancer doesn't just affect those with it but also the loved ones around them. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
