Kate's Giving Page
Thu 1 Feb 2024 - Thu 29 Feb 2024
My mission is to complete the challenge, to reach my fundraising target and to increase my strength and sense of inner calm.
In memory of
my grandmother and my aunt
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I aim to complete 29 days of yoga in February doing an average of 30 minutes each day to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I already do a few yoga exercises, most days, and this challenge will definitely motivate me to get out of the post-Christmas and winter slump and do a bit more as we move into Spring, knowing that I am doing it for an excellent cause. We all know someone who's been affected by cancer. I will share a few photos and thoughts about how things are going throughout the month. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. Update - day 27. Two days to go and I have to say I DO definitely feel some health benefits from doing daily yoga, so this will motivate me to carry on with it going forward. This is something that would almost certainly not have happened had I not done the challenge. And, I have achieved my funding target. Despite feeling discouraged at times I have genuinely persevered. I've only missed one day, which was due to feeling unwell. So, I feel pleased with myself, and am glad I participated.
