My Story
One of my closest friend's uncle was lost in November 2018 and after seeing how effected my friend and his family were through the loss of such a loved man has made me realise that I want to do my part as much as I can in order to support those who have lost loved ones or/and those who are fighting such a battle. I may have not lost anyone closely connected to myself personally, but I have seen how heartbreaking it is to go through such an ordeal and I couldn't imagine the trauma and pain that those who are experiencing such a thing are going through, so I will not stop, no matter what it takes in order to fund this project. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
