My Story
As most of you know my Grandad Harry passed away 27th Feb 2005 as a result of having pancreatic cancer. He was so brave only knowing for 2 weeks before he died. Ive always wanted to do race for life but every year there is always something that crops up in a result i couldn't do it... until now... and this is why... My Nan Nelly was diagnosed with lung cancer in Dec 2017. We havent told alot of people as my Nan is not one for fuss. She is being so brave and possitive about the situation that this is why i want to get muddy for my Grandad and my Nan (also for her to have a bit of a laugh at me and tell me "your bloody mad"). I hope some day there will be a cure for this awful disease as its not only took my Grandad or going to take my Nan but for 1000's of other families going through the same as us and losing a loved one.
