Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. As many people know I fought my own battle with breast cancer last year and, so far, I am winning! Unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky - I lost my wonderful Mum to lung cancer in 2017 and recently lost three work colleagues who fought so bravely in their battles - Nigel Hunter, Jason Muller and Steve Hyams. In my thoughts also are my Gran and Colleen Cammis ❤️ This Race for Life is also for my friends Tracy, Mary-Anne and Sara ... who continue their journey 💕💕 I stood on the sidelines last year post-op, unable to complete 10 steps let alone 5k, and watched some wonderful friends complete the Race for Life for me. This year I’m going to smash it for others. Every penny counts ... every penny helps 🎗🎗 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
