I’M RAISING MONEY FOR STAND UP TO CANCER

I am raising money for Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up to Cancer campaign. I do NOT dance, I am too SCARED to box and too INJURED to run. So I am swimming the channel. Ish. 21 miles in a pool. Between now and the TV show. On October 26th.
WHY? Because I lost two grandparents to cancer, my father in law, so many family friends, I have friend is battling cancer now and suffering the most hideous side effects. It is everywhere. But it’s not hopeless. We can all make a difference. Please support me if you can. However much you can.

I have done my first mile. My goggles broke twice and counting lengths (64 in a 25m pool) was a pain so I have bought a waterproof clicker...!)

Cause

Stand Up to Cancer: LIFE-SAVING RESEARCH

100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.
