My sister and Emma's auntie Steph
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer came into our family last September when my sister, Emma's aunt, Steph was diagnosed with breast cancer. When cancer affects someone you love dearly you feel helpless as there is nothing you can do to rid them of this awful disease, so doing the race for life is our small way of showing her how much she is loved and how much we care. We are also running for her three sons, my nephews Luke, Sam and Tom who have been amazing throughout it all. I wasn't going to do a fundraising page as I hate asking people for money but as Emma rightly said why are we doing it if we're not going to raise some money??? fair point indeed! So whatever money you can spare will be greatly appreciated and will go towards a truely wonderful cause, whether it be the small change in your pocket or something more, every penny helps, so from me and Emma thank you xxx 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
